One of the greatest honors of my life was
when my neighbors elected me as mayor in
2005. As a 40-year resident of Clearwater, it
was a privilege to serve our community for
two terms as mayor.
While I was mayor, I oversaw the development
of the downtown marina, Clearwater’s
Beach Walk, Ross Norton complex in South
Greenwood, the Senior Center at the Long
Center and much more. Then in 2012 due to
term limits, I was forced to step down.

grown. Neighborhoods and business corridors
have declined and the downtown area has not
seen commercial growth. With the city manager
and city attorney positions expected to become
vacant in 2020, we’ll need to lead a national
����������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������
That’s why I am running again. Clearwater
needs someone with strong, proven leadership
now more than ever to guide our great city
through the future.
