Michael Francis, music director of
The Florida Orchestra, celebrated
being sworn in as an American citizen
with a group of friends and his wife
Cindy during a dinner at Café Ponte
in Clearwater hosted by Mary Ann and
Brad Morse. Michael Francis was born
and grew up in England, where he sang
“God Save the Queen,” but now as an
American citizen, he feels proud to be
able to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
