These ornate blocks and delicate flowers are the perfect pair
to construct your own family heirloom that will last through
the ages. Each quilt block included features fancy filigree for
a timeless look, while the separate 3D flowers add a modern
touch. This collection includes 10 quilt blocks, as well as 10
flower sets that can be attached to the center of each block.
The construction of each block is as simple as can be! First,
stitch out the flower petals and set them to the side, then
start stitching the blocks. Then, the decorative embroidery
that fills the space of the block is followed up with a set of
steps that attaches the flower petals right onto your block
and finishes it with ease!

NOTIONS
Since we are using two different techniques for
this collection, we’ll need two different types
of stabilizer as well. Use No Show
Mesh for your quilt block,
and Wash Away for
your flowers.
THREADS
We kept a tonal color palette for our threads and
simply selected a deep purple thread to match
our fabric for the satin stitches of the petals, and
used a lighter shade of purple for any decorative
elements featured in the designs.
FABRIC
To keep our quilt classic
and simple, we used a plumcolored
linen as the base fabric
for our quilt blocks as well as the
fabric for our flowers.
