Six Flags Great Adventure & Safari is the World’s Largest Thrill
Park. The 510-acre park operates through four seasons of thrills,
and features world-class coasters, including three of the world’s
best—Kingda Ka, El Toro and Nitro—as well as two kids’ areas,
concerts and dynamic special events like Fright Fest and Holiday
in the Park.
Board a revamped military truck on Safari Off-Road Adventure,
a 350-acre, one-of-a-kind animal attraction with more than 1,200
exotic animals including elephants, giraffes, lions, bears and
more. Stop at Camp Aventura in the middle of the Safari to see
exotic reptiles and birds and feed the giraffes. Spring is a special
time at the Safari when cubs, calves and many other young ones

In 2020, the park will debut Jersey Devil Coaster, the longest,
tallest, fastest single-rail coaster on the planet. Inspired by
infamous New Jersey legend, the unique Jersey Devil Coaster
includes four sleek trains where passengers sit low and inlinestyle,
with their legs straddling the monorail track. Riders will

experience three dramatic inversions—including a 180-degree
stall and zero-gravity roll—and soar down a steep 87-degree first
drop, riding single file through the dark and foreboding woods
over 3,000 feet of track, reaching a height of 13 stories and
speeds up to 58 mph.
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is one of America’s largest
waterparks. This windswept, tropically-themed paradise is
located next to Six Flags Great Adventure & Safari. Hurricane
Harbor features more than 30 thrill slides, including Big Wave
Racer, Tornado and Juhranimo Falls, a massive, milliongallon
wave pool, half-mile lazy river and two interactive,
family water play areas. In 2019, Hurricane Harbor debuted
Calypso Springs, a 100,000-gallon family activity pool with a
spontaneously erupting geyser. This is the park’s largest water
expansion since opening its gates in 2000. The new area also
includes a sizeable lounge deck for soaking up the summer
sun, and a new dining location.
