Introducing Michael Francis
The Honorable Bob Schmidt hosted a cocktail buffet at his beachfront home in Belleair Shore to introduce Michael Francis, the
Florida Orchestra’s incoming music director to his friends. Guests had the opportunity to learn about the Orchestra and sample
delicacies from Cafe Ponte, while being entertained by Florida Orchestra member Oleg Geyer.
Meghan Pastreich, her father Michael, the CEO of
the Florida Orchestra, and Stephanie Gray Gonthier,
a regional veterinary hospital administrator,
enjoyed the buffet prepared by Chef Chris Ponte.
Cindy Francis and her husband Michael,
the Florida Orchestra’s incoming new
music director, enjoyed returning to
the waterfront area where they became
engaged and later were married.
Fashionable Fun
Realtor Cathy Schoeppler attended the
evening to meet Michael Francis, the Florida
Orchestra’s new music director with The
Honorable Bob Schmidt, the evening’s host
and the mayor of Belleair Shore.

welcomed guests to a reception at the new Tracy Negoshian and His store in St. Petersburg’s Sundial. The evening benefited the
Margaret “Peg” Nunn Scholarship Fund, named for one of the group’s founders.

Girls Clubs’ supporters.
Karol Bullard, who chaired the benefit, and her husband,
developer Fred Bullard, enjoyed helping the Boys and
Girls Clubs put young people on paths to great futures.
Mary Critchfield was proud
that her daughter Austi, who is a
talented singer and mathematician,
recently was crowned the 2015 Miss
St. Petersburg’s Outstanding Teen.
