Poetic Justice
Karol Bullard chaired “The Stars of PAR,” Poetic Justice Gala 2015.
This dinner benefit in St. Pete Beach featured a silent auction and
music by Ricky B’s All Stars Band. It also recognized 45 Galaxy of
Stars honorees who have contributed to the success of Operation PAR
(Parental Awareness and Responsibility) since its inception 45 years
ago. The not-for-profit began when Dr. Shirley Coletti gathered a
group of local officials and concerned parents together to address the
then little known problems of drug experimentation.
Today Operation PAR provides comprehensive mental health and
substance abuse prevention, treatment and research services to men,
women and children in seven Central Gulf Coast counties.
