The Omelette Party
This annual benefit for The Arc Tampa Bay Foundation, formerly UPARC, is orchestrated by an ongoing committee, which
includes fourth generation members. It began 48 years ago when famed New York Chef Rudy Stanish, “The Omelette King,”
personally served his signature egg dish. The evening of dining, art, music and dancing at a private estate has always been
known for its spectacular floral and plant arrangements, which are made available for purchase the following day. Over three
and a half million dollars has been raised since this fundraiser’s inception to help provide day programs, residential services
and employment opportunities, as well as quality lives for the individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
who are served by The Arc.
Ron Seel and his wife, Pinellas County Commissioner Karen Seel, were
one of the event’s chair couples.
Ann and Joe Douglas, who co-chaired the event with the Seels,
encouraged guests to purchase art by The Arc’s Harborside Studios
students that was displayed in the Tudor-style home.
Barbara and Mike Galinski graciously opened their Belleair waterfront
home and grounds for the popular black-tie benefit of omelettes,
champagne and more.
Dr. Paul Phillips and his wife Liz, are pleased that their son David and
his wife, fashion designer Tracy Negoshian Phillips, have joined them
on the benefit’s committee.
