pring Training is over, the heat is warming our bodies, and the sun is
shining brightly, so we know that it is time for Tampa Bay Magazine’s “Best of
Tampa Bay” issue. As you read through the following pages, you’ll discover
what, where and who are tops in our readers’ opinions. Thousands of votes
were compiled by our staff as we tallied the names of our winners. Use this

Spring Training Baseball
After a long winter without hearing the “crack of the
bat,” thousands of fans flock to our Tampa Bay area to
enjoy Major League Baseball Spring Training games.
Whether it’s to watch the Philadelphia Phillies at Bright
House Field in Clearwater, the Toronto Blue Jays at
Florida Auto Exchange Stadium in Dunedin, or the New
York Yankees at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa take on
the rest of MLB’s Grapefruit League teams, many of our
readers seem to enjoy our delightful sunshine, great hot
dogs and ice-cold drinks during an afternoon of Spring
Training baseball.
