Caladesi Island Adventure,
This boat departs from the Honeymoon
Island Recreation Area at the west end of
the Dunedin Causeway, State Road 586,
(727) 734-5263. Here you can enjoy
3 miles of uncrowded white sandy
beach with good shelling, tree-shaded
picnic areas, a 3-mile nature trail and
many other amenities.Escorted island
tours are available. The boat departs
every half hour beginning at 10 a.m.
(seasonally adjusted).
The Florida Aquarium,
701 Channelside Drive, Tampa,

experience open daily is designed to
take you on a journey, starting with a
drop of water from one of Florida’s
many freshwater springs to the open
waters of the Florida Keys. Sights include
a simulated wetlands environment
under a tall glass atrium, shallow bays
and beaches, and a coral reef ecosystem
encompassed in half a million gallons of
natural seawater.
