Hooray for Hollywoof
The SPCA Tampa Bay Fur Ball was called the Hooray for Hollywoof Gala this year. The gala was chaired by Rhonda Shear
and her husband Van Fagan. The 700 guests at the Coliseum in St. Petersburg made this the most successful Fur Ball ever for this
organization that has operated for almost 80 years. The SPCA Tampa Bay is the only animal welfare agency that runs an open
admission animal shelter, pet training facility and public veterinary center in Pinellas County.
Carol Sandstrom, a 2019 ambassador to the
SPCA Tampa Bay, and Greg Boehle were
happy to support the gala in St. Petersburg.
Jonathan Browy, a presenting sponsor of the
benefit and president of the SPCA Tampa Bay
board, and his wife Marion welcomed
guests to the gala.
Nancy and Steve Westphal of Go to Steve’s
Restaurants and Catering brought Nancy’s
mother Kitty Safford to this special evening
they helped to sponsor.
