If you need nourishment, try sweet and savory
popcorn from Kat Saka’s Kettle or quick bites
from Ronto Roasters, then look around to find
a lone X-wing fighter near the yet-to-be-opened
attraction, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Until
then, the area’s other attraction Millenium Falcon:
Smugglers Run puts you onboard Hans Solo’s
ship, where you will encounter memory-jogging
Star Wars reminders as you travel through an
elaborate queue to the cockpit of this life-size
ship. Some guests will pilot the ship, while
others will serve as a gunner or engineer as it
takes off to transport its illegal cargo throughout
the universe. The experience provides guests
with the thrill of having the ship react to their
decisions and actions.
In this uncharted region of the universe, you
Chewbacca and the Millenium Falcon ended up on
Batuu after he loaned the starship to the former pirate
who owns and operates Ohnaka Transport Solutions.
will encounter characters such as Chewbacca,
storm troopers and other imaginative aliens,
droids and beings. You will be totally immersed
in the environment, even while dining on galactic
dishes in Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. In
addition to signs in Aurebesh, a written form of
the Star Wars’ Galactic Basic language, there are
words, phrases and terms for everything from
robots to weapons throughout the area. So as
they say on Batuu, “May the Spires Keep You.” 9
