Black History Month honors and celebrates the
February is Black History Month
achievements of African American men and
women throughout history. It is observed from
Feb. 1 through Feb. 29 annually. The North
Greenwood Library has planned several programs to
celebrate this important month.
True African American Experience: Black Studies Class
The four-week course will examine the African American
experience starting from the rise of the Western Sudanic
Civilization to the present experiences of black life in
America.
