Doggone Reading Fun
Paws for Friendship Inc. brings
therapy-trained dogs for 20-minute
reading sessions. Reluctant readers, or
children who might not enjoy reading
aloud, are often eager to read in the
presence of an adoring and nonjudgmental
pup.

DunnDee Farms Mini Farm Event
This program is tailored to suit all
age levels; a homestead 101. Learn
what it means to be self-sustaining,
the community’s impact on the
environment and organic foods.
Attendees will also learn why you
should care about what you eat and
non-organic farming’s impact on the
environment. Some animal friends
including a mini-donkey, a mini-goat,
a mini-sheep, chickens, a dwarf rabbit
and a mini-pig will join us.
