STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
STEP J
First, cut the length you want your garland to
be from the monofilament. We had 11 butterflies
that we wanted to be spaced about 4" apart, so
we measured 44" inches of line, then added
about 5-6" on either side as hanging allowance.
So the length of our line was cut to 56".
STEP K
First, measure about 5-6" from one end of the
line, then tie a knot. If your line is thinner than
ours you might need to use a double-knot.
STEP L
Thread the line through the top half of the first
butterfly's thorax, then pull the butterfly along the
length of the garland until it meets the knot from step K.
