Using scissors, carefully remove the fabric within the marking
stitches. Be sure to leave the stabilizer in place so that your
design stitches evenly.
Note: If you accidentally puncture the stabilizer, you can
tape a piece on the back of the hoop that covers any holes.
Run the first machine step, which will be the marking stitch
for your cutwork. We recommend stitching this in a color that
can be easily seen on your base fabric.
Begin by hooping wash away stabilizer and your base fabric
of choice. We selected cotton for this tutorial, and we are
stitching file SC1.
Your trimmed design should look something like this.
