Comic Book Day Craft Kit: A Takeand
Make-Craft
Stop by the Clearwater East
Community Library at St. Petersburg
College for a take-and-make craft. We
will craft some comic book-themed
items to celebrate Comic Book Day.
Supplies will be provided. Share your
completed project by messaging us via
the library Facebook page at facebook.
com/clearwaterlib, or show a librarian.
Registration is required at

562-4970. Pick up your kit inside the
East branch or drive-through May
1-7. Unclaimed kits will be offered to
patrons on the wait list.

Fun with Felt: A Take-and-Make Craft
Stop by the East Community Library
at St. Petersburg College to pick up
the supplies for a take-and-make
craft for teens. Each month we will
create a different felt craft. Share
your completed project by messaging

a librarian. Registration is required at

562-4970 to reserve a craft kit.
Needles are not included. Pick up your

Virtual Crafting: Iris Folding Cards
Create your own iris folding cards using
a technique that is done by arranging
and layering strips of paper, fabric or
tape in a spiraled pattern that resembles
the iris of a camera lens. Registration
is required at myclearwaterlibrary.com
to reserve a craft kit; all materials are
provided. Supplies are limited.
Craft kits contain: template, photo
paper, glue dots, glue stick, paper strips,
piece of card stock, and an envelope.
What you'll need: hardcover book (or
other heavy, flat object) and scissors.

Registrants will be contacted when
craft kits are ready for pick-up. At that
time, you will be notified of the time
frame in which to pick up the kit at
the Countryside branch. If the kit is
not picked up during the specified
time period, it will be forfeited and
given to the next patron in line on the
waiting list. A URL is posted to this
event that will direct patrons to the
library's online video on how to create
the craft. The video will continue to be
available on our YouTube channel and
open to anyone who wishes to view,
including those who are not registered.

National Gardening Week, Plant
and Learn: Take-and-Make

Virtual Crafting: Tassel Earrings
Create your own pair of tassel earrings
(colors may vary) with supplies
and instruction provided by the
Countryside branch. Registration is
required at myclearwaterlibrary.com or
by calling 562-4970 to reserve a craft
kit; supplies are limited.
What you'll need: needle-nose pliers
and scissors. Craft kits contain:
three skeins of embroidery floss, two
earring hooks, and four jump rings.
