Zoom Fossil Dig Program
Do you like to play in the dirt, or
have you ever dreamt of becoming
an archaeologist? If so, join us for this
Zoom program, where we’ll excavate
and identify fossils. After you register, a
Zoom invitation will be e-mailed, and
you can pick up your fossil kit at the
Main Library. For ages 7-17.

Fruit Coasters: A Take-and-Make
Craft
Stop by the Clearwater East
Community Library at St. Petersburg
College to pick up supplies for a takeand
make craft. We will be painting
coasters with a fruit design. Share your
completed project by messaging us via
the library Facebook page at facebook.
com/clearwaterlib, or show a librarian.
Registration is required at
myclearwaterlibrary.com or by calling
562-4970 to reserve a craft kit. Pick
up your kit inside the East branch or
drive-through July 10-16. Unclaimed
kits will be offered to patrons on the
wait list.

Virtual Crafting: Macrame Plant
Hanger
Create your own macrame plant
hanger with supplies and instruction
provided by the Countryside
branch. Registration is required at
myclearwaterlibrary.com or by calling
562-4970 to reserve a craft kit. Supplies
are limited.
Craft kits contain: 18 yards of white
cotton cord, three yards of blue cord,
one metal ring, and three wooden
beads with a 1/4-inch hole. View the

Patrons must provide the following
items: A ruler or tape measure, scissors,
scotch tape, three paper clips (or other
type of clip), and a Command™ hook
or other secure place to hang your
project while you work on it.
Registrants will be contacted when
craft kits are ready for pick-up. At that
time, you will be notified of the time
frame in which to pick up the kit at the
Countryside branch. If the kit is not
picked up during the specified time
period, it will be forfeited and given
to the next patron on the wait list.

Zoom Bats, Bats, and More Bats
Learn about unusual bats with some
interesting habits in this discussion
with Tampa Bay Bats, a bat rescue,
rehabilitation and educational
organization. The presentation will
be followed by a question-and-answer
session, as time allows. For ages 13-18.

Tea Towel Embroidery: A Takeand
Make Craft

Virtual Crafting: Origami
Learn how to make your very
own origami animal. This craft is
recommended for all ages, though
adult assistance may be necessary for
younger participants. Registration is
required at myclearwaterlibrary.com or
by calling 562-4970 to reserve a craft
kit. Supplies are limited.
Craft kits contain: six sheets of origami
paper. This enables practice rounds,
sharing with family, or making
additional origami crafts. Twenty kits
will be available. An instructional
video will be posted on the library’s

clearwaterlibrary.
