
North Greenwood Recreation & Aquatic Complex
The North Greenwood Recreation & Aquatic Complex features steppers, elliptical cross trainers, exercise bikes, treadmills, fitness
balls, free weights, benches and stack weights. It also includes a seasonal pool, gymnasium, multi-purpose rooms and an outdoor
playground. The center is open for those ages 14 through adult. Youth 14-17 years old must have a fitness room waiver signed by a
parent or guardian on file at the recreation center that they are attending.

Fitness Orientation Classes (Free)
Learn the proper way to use the fitness
center equipment. Trained personnel will
work with a small group, helping them
become familiar with the equipment and
its proper use. According to city policy,
youth ages 12-13 can use Clearwater’s fitness
centers under special requirements. For
details, contact your local recreation center.

Facility Rentals
The city’s recreation facilities offer rental
spaces for meetings, special occasions
and other activities. Reservations are
required. Call 669-1914 for pricing, details
and availability.

After School
Charting the Course for Youth – An
After-School Program
(ages 11-17)
Activities include homework, games,
crafts, field trips and sports. Focus on
positive self-esteem, nutrition, healthy
choices and obesity prevention. Self
discipline, teamwork, achievement,
responsibility, respect and honesty are
expected from all teens participating in
the program.
