Where Your Pup Can Go During The Dog Days of Summer
As summer begins, please remember that no dogs,
cats, pets or animals are allowed on the public
bathing beach or sand at Clearwater Beach or
Sand Key Park.
If you don't want to leave your four-legged friend behind,
you can hang out with your pupper on a leash on the north
side of Clearwater Beach, past Somerset Street. You can
also try a leisurely walk along Beach Walk or play fetch at
the Sand Key Dog Park, where they have a section for both
small and large dogs.
Please remember to clean up after your pet and to keep them
leashed in the appropriate areas.
As always, guide dogs, signal dogs or other animals
individually trained to provide assistance to an individual
with a disability are the exception.
