of the last truly natural green spaces in
the most developed county in Florida
must be protected and maintained for
current and future generations to visit,
learn and celebrate what "Old Florida"
used to look like.

Volunteers
The city is currently looking for
volunteers to teach programs at our
beautiful nature parks, including
Moccasin Lake Nature Park, Lake
Chautauqua, Cliff Stephens and
Bayview Park. This will allow people
to see our beautiful nature spaces while
enjoying a fun, educational program
or workshop taught by community
volunteers. The city will assist with a
registration method and several options
for amenities, depending on site
location.
