Suncoast Hospice Ball
The Ballroom at the Vinoy in St. Petersburg sparkled with its white and crystal decorations during the “Moon Dance
Masquerade,” Empath Health’s 15th annual Suncoast Hospice Ball. White tie and masks were optional at this traditionally
black-tie seated dinner, dance and auctions benefit. Rafael Sciullo, president and CEO of Empath Health, and Bob Stahl,
president of Stahl and Associates Insurance, which has been the Ball’s presenting sponsor since its inception, announced that
the Ball has raised more than 3.6 million dollars over the years. Empath Health, which is headquartered in Clearwater, is a
nonprofit integrated network of care that encompasses hospice, palliative home health and physician services, assistance for
independent living and daycare for seniors, services for those infected or affected by HIV, as well as advance care planning
for those who are effected by chronic or advanced illnesses.
