Hospital Tampa, held a reception for
Dick, his friends and the hospital staff,
where he presented Dick with a plaque
declaring him the “Honorary Mayor of
Florida Hospital.” Brian declared that he

T he 5th annual Los Vinos de Dalí,
which is sponsored by the Dalí
Guild, was their most successful
afternoon of art, food and wine to
date. With restaurants such as E & E
Stakeout Grill, Café Gala and Sea Salt
serving tasty offerings to accompany
the wide selection of wines, this event
drew 750 guests. The support of the
Dalí Guild benefits the Museum and
its education programs.
The Columbia Restaurant Family
held a reception at their Ybor
City restaurant in honor of Torres
Wines of Spain’s new 5 Generation
Garnacha. This brilliant ruby red
wine is filled with the flavors of
strawberries and red currents, along
with nuances of grapevine shoots,
and is well balanced and silky on the
palate. Torres has been named the
world’s most admired wine brand
for two years in a row and, like the
Columbia, is five generations old.
Los Vinos
de Dalí
Carlos and Beverly Yepes were the
host sponsors of this sold-out event at
St. Petersburg’s Dalí Museum. They joined
Museum Director Hank Hine and his wife
Laura in serving guests a glass of Prosecco
as they entered.
Wheelchairs 4 Kids
To celebrate its fifth anniversary and to thank its most loyal supporters,
Wheelchairs 4 Kids held a luncheon at the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa.
The organization has helped over 200 children with physical disabilities,
who require wheelchairs, home and vehicle modifications and other
assistive and therapeutic devices. Former TV Anchor Gayle Sierens hosted
the event, and Thaddeus Bullard, a.k.a. the WWE Superstar Titus O’Neil,
gave an inspiring message before the Heroes’ Awards were presented to
Randy Knorr, Christopher Lehman, David Wright, and Lonnie Robinson.
The Hero of Freedom Award was presented to the Lightning Foundation,
which had donated one of their Community Hero Grants to Wheelchairs
4 Kids. Madeline Robinson, the executive director of Wheelchairs 4 Kids,
was honored to have her husband Lonnie recognized as a hero.
Greco “Mayor” Again
Dr. Linda McClintock Greco was thrilled to
take her husband Dick, the former Mayor
of Tampa, home after his extended stay at
Florida Hospital.
Andrea Gonzmart Williams and her sister
Lauren Gonzmart Schellman thanked Michael Torres,
general manager of Bodegas Torres, for presenting
their father Richard Gonzmart, president of the
Columbia Restaurant Group, with a custom made
guitar from Spain during a reception for Torres’ 5G wine.
