Winter on the Beach
The Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s annual Winter on the Beach fundraiser at the Sandpearl Resort on Clearwater Beach was
an evening of cocktails, fine dining, dancing and bidding. The inaugural Winter’s Hope Award was given to Molly Schaeffer,
who has served as the benefit’s chair since its inception. Monies raised at the event benefit the CMA Animal Care Fund of the
Aquarium, which rescues, rehabs and releases injured sea animals in an effort to preserve the marine environment.
Bruce Livingston, a Dunedin Commissioner,
and his wife Diedra, enjoyed the opportunity
to visit with friends at the buffet dinner party.
