‘Menus: The
Epicurean Experience’
The Henry B. Plant Museum has created an
exhibit of original artifacts that includes menus,
photos, clothing and utensils from the Tampa Bay
Hotel and other grand Florida hotels, along with
personal items from private collectors. This show
is an opportunity to appreciate the dining-style of
the period and to explore the epicurean experience
enjoyed during the gourmet age of these grand
resorts between 1891-1932. The exhibit will be at the
Henry B. Plant Museum at 401 W. Kennedy Blvd. in
Tampa, (813) 254-1891, until December 23.
This exhibit
will appeal to
anyone who
appreciates
the luxury
and elegance
that these
resort hotels,
built by
railroad men,
brought to
Florida. NORAA

emperor’s army. The gala takes place
at the Jewish Community Center on
North Howard Avenue in Tampa
on Saturday, May 20. The proceeds
