Step-by-step
RAW EDGE QUILT BLOCKS
A B
Place a piece of batting over top of the placement stitches.
Be sure to completely cover all four sides.
To begin, hoop a piece of No Show Mesh stabilizer. The first
machine step will be your placement stitch showing you
where to place a piece of batting.
C D
Using scissors, trim away the batting from the tack down
stitches and out of the seam allowance.
The second machine step will be the tacking stitch, securing
the batting to the stabilizer.
E F
The next machine step will tack down the base fabric.
Continue with any background stitching.
Place your base fabric over the batting, leaving 1/2” extra on
all four sides. This will create your seam allowance.
