
understanding the ICONOLOGY
To help you identify the techniques used in a collection, we established a series of icons that represent 19 various
techniques commonly used in our designs. The icons that are highlighted in the bar on our packaging will denote
the techniques we’ve used in that collection, while the shaded out ones will be the unused techniques. Below, we
will define each icon, as well as provide a few examples of collections that feature these techniques.
E Standard Embroidery
This represents any collection that uses solely
embroidery stitches to illustrate its designs. Just wait
until you see what stitches can create!

Appliqué will be highlighted anytime a design features a
placement stitch and tacking stitch in the digitizing to secure
a piece of material to the hoop. This includes specialty
appliqués such as mylar, ghost stitch, and blanket stitch.

P Patch
A patch is any design stitched onto a felt surface that is
generally finished off with a satin stitch border. These
designs will get trimmed tight to the finishing stitches
and can then be sewn directly onto other garments.
