STUFFED ORNAMENTS
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Once trimmed, the design will look something like this.
Use the numbered machine steps for any decorative
embroidery steps, and repeat steps D through F for
any remaining appliqué steps.
Take the 6” ribbon and align the ends so they meet.
Use tape to secure the loop end of the ribbon within
the body of the ornament.
The final machine step is the tacking stitch for the
back fabric.
Once all decorative embroidery is complete, stop just
before the tacking stitch for the back fabric.
Next, place the back fabric face down on top of the
initial base fabric tacking stitch. Make sure the fabric
completely covers the entirety of the ornament.
Remove the ornament from the hoop and any excess
stabilizer. Use scissors to trim away the excess fabric,
leaving about 1⁄4” seam allowance.
