Take one end of the strip and align it perpendicular
with the end of another strip. Sew corner to corner
as shown.
Use an iron to butterfly press the seam. Repeat steps E
through G to make binding as long as required for
your quilt.
Begin sewing 1/2” from the edge of the quilt.
Trim away the excess fabric, leaving at least 1⁄4”
seam allowance.
Now we will sew the binding to the quilt. Create
a 45 degree fold with the binding end, then pin it
faces together with the quilt. Carefully pin along the
edge, making sure the binding and the quilt edge are
perfectly aligned.
Once you reach the corner, sew toward the corner at a
45 degree angle.
