Run the tacking stitch to hold the appliqué in place.
Wait to trim, then follow the numbered machine steps
to complete the decorative embroidery steps.
TIP: Waiting to trim is a technique we use to help
stabilize the decorative embroidery.
Take the hoop and flip it over so that the back of the
design is face up. Use tape to secure the ribbon at the
top of the design.
Run the decorative embroidery, then stop just before
the tacking stitch for the back fabric.
Place the appliqué fabric face up on top of the back of
the design and use tape to secure it in place.

For this tutorial, we have loaded CT3DO6-4A, to match
our 3D elements. Hoop a piece of Tear Away stabilizer
and run the placement stitch.
Next, take the appliqué fabric and place it face up on
top of the placement stitch. Make sure the appliqué
fabric completely covers the placement stitch.
