Opera Etiquette
The management of Florida Grand Opera asks that you not bring candy,
food, or other wrapped items into the theater so that everyone can
enjoy our performances without being disturbed. Perfumes, hairspray,
colognes, and other scented items should be used sparingly when
attending the opera. Please refrain from talking or singing during the
performance and respect members of the audience who want to show
their appreciation to the performers. Kindly wait until after the curtain
call to exit. To ensure the enjoyment of all of our patrons, children
under six years old are not permitted in the theater. Photography and
recordings of any kind are strictly prohibited during FGO performances.
Late Seating
Performances start promptly at the published time. Patrons who
arrive late will be asked to wait in the lobby until a suitable break in the
performance, to be determined by the management. Closed-circuit
televisions will be projecting the opera in the lobby throughout the
performance.
Cellular Phones
each intermission.
Special Services
Infrared hearing devices are available at
both theaters. Simply ask for a hearing
device at the Guest Services Desk. You can return it at the end of the
performance. Large print, audio description, Braille, and wheelchair
accommodations are also available at both theaters. Please notify
tickets so that we can best serve you.

Opera Talk Backs
Join us after each performance for an informative Q&A session
hosted by Florida Grand Opera’s General Director, Susan T.
Administration Mitch Roe and Director of Production Liam Roche,
along with other artistic personnel. Ask questions about our operas
and gain behind-the-scenes insight about how the production came
together. This free event will be an open forum to ask your questions
and be a part of the discussion.
Ticket Information
Patrons can exchange tickets up to 4pm on the day of a weekday
performance or 4pm on Friday before a weekend performance.
There is a fee to exchange by phone. Past-date tickets cannot be
exchanged. Ticket exchanges are subject to availability. Tickets
