Maestro Stephen Brown
British-American Conductor/Composer Stephen
Brown is the conductor and general director of the
Dunedin Music Society that oversees the Dunedin
Concert Band, the Rhythm Kings Jazz Orchestra and
the society’s chamber music program. Two of the 50
compositions he has written to link Biblical Psalms to
music have won Global Music Awards. He is coping
with COVID by launching online programs and by
live-streaming events and podcasts. Maestro Brown
is on the lookout for musicians seeking musical
opportunities, including retirees with a musical

WIN WOLLOFF
for Imaging USA
The Professional Photographers of America
is featuring two photographs by Tampa
Bay photographer Win Wolloff during its
129th annual exhibition. One of the images,
Evening Comes, is on the cover of this issue of
Tampa Bay Magazine. The other is Down We
Dive. The photographer’s work was selected
by a panel of 36 eminent judges from more
than 5,0000 entries. Imaging USA is one of the
world’s largest annual exhibits of professional
photography.
Hein Jung, voice, and Grigorios
Zamparas, piano, both internationally
recognized talents and core members
of the University of Tampa music faculty,
presented a live recital of love-themed
classical music at the Sykes Chapel
and Center for Faith and Values on
the school’s campus in Tampa. Ron
Vaughn, the university’s president,
welcomed audience members; and David
Gudelunas, dean of its College of Arts
and Letters, presented a brief update of
the college’s progress during COVID-19.
The special UT Faculty Recital concert,
which was enjoyed by a limited live
audience, was also available for online
enjoyment, both here and in Greece.

Loan Collection book of the Professional
Photographers of America, which is
displaying two of his images during
January’s Imaging USA virtual convention.

New Owners at Lokey Mercedes-Benz
David Slone of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Jim Teeter of Tyler, Texas
have purchased the Lokey Mercedes-Benz dealership in Clearwater
from Philip Lokey. The firm will now be known as Mercedes-Benz of
Clearwater. Jason Good is remaining as general manager, along with
the rest of the Lokey team. Established in 1965 as one of Florida’s
first Mercedes-Benz dealers, Lokey Motor Company actually began
in 1952 selling Oldsmobiles. This dealership’s employees are known
for their honesty, integrity, trust, respect and compassion.
