of Dunedin with school enrichment,
scholarship support and community
projects. This year’s tour featured virtual
peeks into holiday decorations and
special collections of six private homes,
plus silent and live auctions, shopping
with vendors, lotteries and interviews
with community leaders.....Christina
Bertsos of Dunedin was proud to have
her sculptures included in a special
virtual art presentation by Creative
Pinellas in St. Petersburg…..Katie Deits,
FloridaCraft Art executive director,
and Tyler Jones, the St. Petersburg
organization’s president, thanked
emerging artists sponsors Duncan
McClellan, DMG School Project, Brian
James Photography and others for helping
make the nonprofit’s alfresco “CraftArt
Twist” Saturday of getting to know and
discover 18 talented fine craft artists
and their ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry,
metal, mixed media and scupture works
of art.....Julie Weintraub of the Gold &
Diamond Source in Clearwater welcomed
300 well-spaced supporters to her Hands
Across the Bay charity’s annual Denim
and Diamonds brunch benefit, which was
held at the Opal Sands on Clearwater
Beach and was sponsored by Dr. Joe
and Elif Fitzgerald and their PureLife
Medi-Spa in Largo.....Glenda Barlow,

Tara and Jerry Broadus held a socially
distanced costumed Halloween dinner
party at their Palm Harbor home, which
was spookily decorated for the holiday.....
Mary K Wilson of St. Petersburg and
Tara Broadus hosted an intimate
French-themed dinner at the Tarpon
Springs home of Louise Collins and Al
Wiseman. The evening’s entertainment
included a screening of the 2004 Phantom
of the Opera movie starring Patrick
Wilson, son of Mary K and her husband
John.....Lisa Mansell invited a limited
number of guests to a tea, which was
topped off by a reading by the guests,
who were each given a part in They Killed
Him Dead, a clever short story that was
written by L. Ron Hubbard in the 1930s…..

of Casandra and Daniel Alpert of
Seminole, celebrated his Bar Mitzvah with
family members at sunset overlooking
the water at his grandparents, Judith
and Barry Alpert’s in North Redington

Michael McDaniel of Costa Rica and
Adam Guy, son of Debbie and Robert
Guy of St. Petersburg, have announced

planning a late January wedding and
