This origami crane sculpture is striking
in its simplicity.
Gausche finds new ways to process the metal and
contrast it in many instances with everything from
LED lighting to living plants. The pieces are often
the result of collaborating with a client who has a
one-of-a-kind vision. She has recently completed
5-foot-tall metal fish for Eddie V’s Prime Seafood as
well as smaller home organizational decorations to
hold keys and other objects.
She also created a pair of metal wings for a life-size
goat casting that is being painted and embellished
by an artist friend for the Global Offensive Against
Trafficking (GOAT) fundraiser to fight human
trafficking and sexual exploitation of children. 9
