Use an iron to butterfly press open the seam.
Using your sewing machine and a straight stitch, sew the
blocks together while using the gap between the batting’s
tacking stitch and base fabric’s tacking stitch as a guide.
Once stitched, your row should look something like this.

Follow the same technique shown in picture steps 3 - 5 to
stitch the two completed rows together.
With right sides together and tacking stitches aligned, pin or
clip the rows together.
