Noyes said they will be going hole-by-hole, stepby
step, with the Fazio team to fi ne-tune the plans
for the project. Over the summer the changes will be
made, and they hope to re-open in November. This
is only slightly longer than they normally shut down,
which is July 5 through October 1.
Pope said new that Capillary Concrete bunkers,
TifTuf Bermuda and TifEagle Bermudagrass, as
well as expanding the greens to their original
size, are all part of the plan. Leibold Irrigation out of
Iowa will be working on the course. They are among
the best in the world at what they do, which is why
they were selected.
