Water Conditions
Lifeguards are on duty at the ocean beaches
during daytime hours on weekends in late spring
and early autumn and daily in the summer.
Hours and dates vary.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY
Most of Monmouth County’s beaches are
wheelchair accessible and offer one or more
surf chairs for visitor use. Some beaches also
offer discounted or free admission to people
with disabilities. Monmouth County’s Accessible
Beach Report, a complete listing of accessible
beaches and surf chairs, is available at
