The Monmouth Film Festival (MFF) is New Jersey’s
world-class, critically acclaimed international Film
Festival. The festival hosts New Jersey Premieres of
award-winning films from studios including Netflix,
Hulu, A24 Films, and Magnolia Pictures, featuring
such names as Michael Cera, Sandra Oh, Nick Kroll
and Wendell Pierce. Special guests have included
Sinbad (Jingle All the Way), Kevin Smith (Clerks) and
John Roberts (Bob’s Burgers). The Monmouth Film
Festival is a must-go experience for filmmakers and
film-lovers, featuring celebrities, industry professionals
and the finest independent films from across the globe
with countless opportunities to view feature and short
films, narrative and documentary, as well as attend
Q&As, panels, and free workshops to learn the art
of filmmaking. MFF hosts the NJ Digital Film Expo,
providing filmmakers and tech aficionados the ability
to see new gear from companies like Blackmagic
Design and Fujifilm. MFF prides itself on being New

This international film festival has been wowing
audiences for over a decade with short-format films
from around the world. The free, volunteer-run festival
takes place annually on the third Saturday of July,
attracting nearly 3,000 audience members to watch
40+ films chosen from thousands of submissions
from over 100 countries.

the Atlantic Highlands Arts Council, the festival includes

films created by students, FilmYoungFest, is held in late June with the top winners automatically included in the July festival.
FilmOneFest holds multiple fundraisers throughout the year, including movie premieres with full-length feature films provided by
Sony Pictures Classics. This year, FilmOneFest and the Atlantic Highlands Arts Council are the beneficiaries of a fundraising event
by iconic filmmaker Kevin Smith, a native of Highlands, NJ, on April 24, 2020, at Monmouth University’s Pollak Theatre.
