demanding glass making is and his
dream to build an experimental glass
workshop here in Tampa Bay. Not only
has he achieved hi s goal, but he
has also become the leader of the arts
movement in St. Petersburg, where
his glass works, studio and gallery
have become the center of a new arts
district.

glass that has made him a Tampa Bay icon.

That same magical, musical family of
John Wilson, his wife Mary K., and their
three sons, Paul, Mark
and Patrick, filled
Ruth Eckerd Hall in
Clearwater, as they
performed to help
raise funds for those
who had suffered
losses in Florida’s
four hurricanes the
previous year. Now,
John is retired from
Channel 13, and
Mark has taken his
place. Paul continues
to croon like Frank
Sinatra, and Patrick’s film career has
continued to make him a top Hollywood
star, while they all are still watched over by
the talented matriarch of the family, singer
and voice instructor Mary K.
