The Ninth Annual Gala to benefit Stageworks Theatre was held at the historic Centro Asturiano in Ybor City. It was a multisensory
evening of artistic blending, connection and passion entitled “Fusion.” With a 31-year history, Stageworks is the oldest
professional theatre in Tampa. Its new home is in 8,000 square feet of donated space within Grand Central at Kennedy in the
Channel District.
Andrea Graham and her husband Geoff Simon were sponsors of the
fundraiser that Andrea also co-chaired with Karol Desort.
Jim Spencer and Barb Izzi were among those
welcomed to “Fusion” by Brendan McLaughlin of
ABC Action News, who was the event’s master
of ceremonies.
