To Life: To Justice
The Florida Holocaust Museum’s annual “To Life: To Justice” event, held at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg, honored
Eli Rosenbaum, our nation’s Director of Human Rights Enforcement Strategy and Policy, with the Loebenberg Humanitarian
Award. Rosenbaum, who is the longest serving prosecutor and investigator of Nazi War criminals in history, gave an illuminating
presentation about his three decades of work. Gayle Sierens, co-anchor at WFLA-TV News Channel 8, was the moderator.
Dr. Zena Lansky and her husband Warren Rodgers co-chaired this benefit for the Museum, whose mission is to keep the lessons
of the Holocaust alive and teach members of all races and cultures the worth and dignity of human life, in order to prevent future
genocides.
Board member Lisl Schick, who served on the
“To Life” committee, was congratulated by her
son Ken on the success of the benefit.
Kathy and Mike Sobel, life members of the
Florida Holocaust Museum, were delighted with
the community support for this fundraiser.
