Steven Sonnier of Welsh. Duke Steven is a graduate
of McNeese and Sowela in electronics technology and
is retired from Citgo aft er 42 years of service. He is a
member of the Welsh Knights of Columbus and both
are members of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic
Church of Welsh. Duchess Mary is a Sowela Tech
graduate and is a member of the Bible Study Foundation,
Catholic Daughters of America, and Ladies Altar
Society. She is enjoying retirement and traveling with
her husband. Th ey have three children and enjoy their
six grandchildren and one on the way! Th eir rich blue
costumes were trimmed with sequined appliqués
representing fi sh and exotic animals. Ostrich plumes
completed their crowns and the Duchess’s large aquatic
collar in shades of blue.
Duchess Yvette Marie McDonald Bradley and her
Duke Robert Bradley represented the famous Bourbon
Street and Th e Sounds of New Orleans Jazz.
Board members of the Krewe, they own Good Time
RV in DeRidder. Duke Robert is a native of Roswell,
NM and attended Lamar Technical College. Duchess
Yvette is a native of Shreveport, a graduate of Mansfi
eld High School and attended Panola Junior College.
She is a member of Beta Sigma of DeRidder and Duke
Robert is a member of Th e Big Bunny Hunting Club.
Th eir matching red and black ensembles were accented
with musical instruments.
Krewe skit groups depicting Jackson Square, Th e
Mysterious Voodoo, and the 210 Stompers Saints
Marching Group entertained during the Presentation.

Tyler Henderson, Lance Hurt, Israel Lowery, Blake
Prejean, Mike McBride, Mike McHugh, Josh Whatley,

Gay Hebert, Chance and Jessica LeBlanc, Doug and
Adele Hamer, Tim and Maria O’Dowd, Curtis and
Emma Vincent, Syd and Roby Dye, Gertinna Simmons,
Courtney LeDoux, Jessica McBride, Liz Baker,
Mary Sonnier, Karen Henderson, Chuck Henderson,
Susie LeBlanc, Barbara Broussard, Kimberly Reider, Jai
McBride, Don Vincent, Janelle Vincent, and Brianna
McBride.
Royal entertainment was the Sweet Adelines “Out of
Control” singers--Margaret Sloan-Bari, Yvette Morgan,
Cindy King, and Darline LeJeune--representing the
World War II Museum‘s Liberty Belles.
Members and their guests danced the night away
to the beat of Johnny Rocket and the Moon Dogs of
Natchitoches.
Ushers for the evening under the direction of Bob
McLemore were Shane McLamore, Mark Levine, Paul
Lungaro, David Faulk, George Barbier, and Ricky
Guidry.
Th e Floor Committee included Paul Lungaro, David
Faulk, Debbie Denning, and Barbara Lungaro.
Th e Coliseum was decorated under the direction of
Chairs Lydia McLamore and Diann Manning. Assistants
to the Captain were Sabrina Broussard, Lee Miller
and George Barbier.
