Married for 41 wonderful years, they have three children
and five grandchildren and have owned L.B. Computers
for 24 years. Craig and Karen have been members of
Krewe des Pirates for six years and have been members
of The Buccaneers for 14 years. Karen is an avid team
bowler and Craig enjoys hunting and fishing. They love
to travel and are always up for a good time with family
and friends.
Representing the rare Black Diamond, Duke and
Duchess Marshall and Clarice LaFosse boogied down
the boardwalk to “Hey Pocky Way” by the Neville Brothers.
They just celebrated 39 years of marriage on February
14. Both are graduates of South Cameron High
School and they make their home in Grand Lake. They
have two sons, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Marshall is the owner/operator of E5 Construction

and Clarice is employed by ReCon Engineering,
currently working at the Westlake Chemical site. The
Duke and Duchess have been members of Krewe des Pirates
for seven years and are also members and past King
and Queen of Krewe du Lac. The couple are also members
of Krewe of Athena, Pelican Coast Parrot Heads,
Lake Charles Buccaneers, and the Calcasieu Boat Club.
Marshall and Clarice love cooking, entertaining, dancing,
spending time on the beach, traveling, and of course,
cheering on the New Orleans Saints, McNeese Cowboys,
and LSU Tigers.
The Master of Ceremonies asked the audience to stand
as he presented the brilliantly shining 2020 King and
Queen, His Royal Highness King Pierre the 10th and
Her Royal Highness Queen Jacqueline the 10th , Donnie
and Lottie Courvelle.
The Royal Couple exited the ship and rocked their way
down the boardwalk to “24k Magic” by Bruno Mars. The
Royal Couple have been married 13 years and together
have four daughters, six granddaughters and two grandsons.
Donnie was born and raised in Vinton, attended
McNeese and served two years in the US Army. He
retired after 40 years from PPG/Westlake Corporation as
a maintenance supervisor. Donnie enjoys his daily workouts
in his home gym, playing golf and deer hunting.
Lottie is a Lake Charles native and will celebrate her
50th LaGrange reunion this fall. She attended McNeese,
where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Lottie
retired with 44 years of service from PPG/Westlake
Corporation in October 2016 as executive assistant to the
plant manager. After retirement, she worked as office
manager for Lotte Chemical up until her second retirement
in November 2018. Lottie enjoys working in her
yard, cooking, wine tasting, and entertaining.
Donnie and Lottie have been members of Krewe des
Pirates for nine years and served as Duke and Duchess in
2016. Lottie has served as Krewe ball chairman for seven
years. They are also members of Krewe de la Noblesse
where they served as Duke and Duchess in 2013. They
are members of the Pelican Coast Parrothead club and
enjoy trips with their
Parrot Head friends
each year, especially
their annual trip to
Key West. Lottie and
Donnie love to travel
and enjoy spending
time with family and
friends.
