Th e Cruise of Entertainment is in port as we welcome our
2020 King of Nauti Voyages Buddy Ryan, who entered in
style to Lakeside’s “Fantastic Voyage.” He was born in Sulphur
and raised in Pasadena, Texas where he attended Sam
Rayburn High School. He is the father of Ashley, Nate, and
Jessica and resides in Sulphur with his lovely Queen and their
two furbabies. He is a superintendent at Turner Industries
and volunteers with SWLA Whitetails Unlimited Chapter,
serving on the executive board. He enjoys hunting, fi shing,
knee boarding and hanging out with his Krewe friends.
One last hilariously Nauti skit, “Synchro Swimmers” was
performed by Jesters T-Cole, Bobby Jo Johnson, Tammy
Ryan, Ron Turner, Stacy Fontenot, Kailyn Hunt, Jordan
Banks, Jonathan Abraham, and Stacie and Darek Ardoin.
Members and guest joined new Royal Court in a traditional
toast signifying the offi cial 2020 reign, and the Nauti Party
started with the Second Line Stroll.

The “Krewe of Thieves” was founded in 2007 by David
LaPointe and Todd “T-Cole “Younger. The principles
of the Krewe are good friends, good food, good
fun, and a little thievery mixed in. The Krewe has several
events each year that incorporate the very principles
it was founded on.
