“Oceanview Drive” is situated on 300
hundred feet of the Gulf of Mexico. It is
180 feet wide and has 25,000 square feet
on three levels. Designing and building
this coastal-inspired residence presented
many challenges such as stringent zoning
and homeowner association restrictions
as well as a variety of new velocity zone
building codes and requirements.
The home was designed to meet the
owners’ objective of being capable of
entertaining groups, while allowing a
comfortable life in this exceptionally large
home without it feeling cavernous and
cold. They also wanted their new home
to take full advantage of its exquisite
waterfront setting.
Bobby Gross and David Lesser,
principals of Windstar Homes,
collaborated with Beth Ault of Leann
Snyder Interiors for the design of
cabinetry and built-in designs in addition
to flooring, lighting and ceiling designs,
window treatments and custom furniture
that resulted in a bevy of professional
awards for Windstar.
The detailing in the cooking
area and its cabinetry are
characteristic of the level of
quality that Windstar Homes
provides.
The luxurious
bath in the
master suite
has been
designed
by Windstar
Homes to be
both beautiful
and practical.
