Charity Works’ Monopoly Night
This year’s Monopoly Night to benefit Charity Works, which provides services to the philanthropic community to help maximize
the value and use of charitable funds and other types of resources, was presented by Prescription Weight Loss Clinic, Decker Ross
Interiors and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. Jenn Holloway-Bingham was master of ceremonies, and the Honorable Bob
Gualtieri, the Pinellas County sheriff, was honorary chair. Toni Blackshear and Suzan Decker Ross were event co-chairs. Based
at the Belleair Country Club, players bid on auction items and competed in a fast paced Monopoly game to win prizes, both live
and virtually from home.
Jane Strong, owner of Happy Feet Plus, was
congratulated by Jeff Thomas on winning
the grand prize, valued at $2,500 for
accumulating the most “wealth.”
Karen and Steve Thompson helped raise
funds for Charity Works at the live auction
that was held after the championship match.
Dan Shouvlin, president of Clear Skyz, and
his fiancée Nancy McKibben were celebrating
Notre Dame’s football win earlier in the day
when they arrived at this fundraiser.
Jeanie and Chris Renfrow, who is president
and founder of Charity Works, thanked
Clearwater Mayor Frank Hibbard for
greeting the players and thanking them
for their support.
