It seems as though everyone has a different answer for
what makes the Tampa Bay area so unique. The one
consensus is that the people here are nice, friendly and
happy to be living in this land of plenty.
Many people live here for the year-round good weather
and the natural beauty of our area, since we have some of the
best beaches and water sports in the world, wonderful public
parks, golf courses, lakes and green spaces, an expensive
network of trails, and a multitude of places to exercise and
enjoy spectacular sunsets and views. We can boast of a firstclass
zoo as well as wonderful aquariums on both sides of
the bay that allow those who live here to see and experience
animals and fish in a wide variety of habitats.

With regard to professional sports, it doesn’t seem to matter
if you are a Lightning fan, or a Rays, Yankees, Phillies or Blue
Jays supporter, a Bucs fan or a Rowdies enthusiast. Many of
us are devoted followers of several of these fabulous teams,
which represent our area nationally and internationally.
Likewise, our performing arts centers, concert venues and
small theaters provide us with top quality entertainment,
both from imported and local talent, which includes The
Florida Orchestra, along with other instrumental, opera
and choral groups, which have their own audiences and a
crossover of patrons who attend performances wherever
their favorite entertainers, shows or music selections are
scheduled.
