At that point, I decided that everyone should know my passion
for Anita Goodesign, and the reasons they will love it too. I
needed to SHOW everyone what they can do with designs,
how they can enjoy perfect stitch-outs, and how they can
think “outside the embroidery box” and make the designs
their own. I started making videos for the OML Embroidery
YouTube channel, with a goal of reaching 100K subscribers,
and showing people WHY Anita
Goodesign is worth every penny.
I like to inspire and encourage
people to start Anita Goodesign
projects, and enjoy the flip-through
of the All Access book every month!
I want everyone to “make the time
to stitch the roses”, because it took me 20 years and a heart
attack to realize the joy that Anita Goodesign can bring to
you every month.
A couple of years ago Don and I went to the Anita Goodesign
garage sale. I must say, that was an amazing trip for me. When
I got in the doors of the main office and saw that Grenade
Butterfly for real, it was absolutely awesome. Taylor took us for
a tour and I got to sign the hallway wall. I was still recovering
and was having a reaction to my heart medication, but none
of that mattered! We purchased around 300 design CD’s to
give away free on the OML Embroidery Channel to help get
people started with Anita Goodesign embroidery designs.
“I HAVE ENJOYED EMBROIDERY
SINCE THE MOMENT I PRESSED
THAT GREEN GO BUTTON ON MY
FIRST MACHINE...”
AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT | ALL ACCESS | 180
What made you start your journey
into machine embroidery? My
journey started as a stay-at-home
mom when my youngest went into
Grade 1. I actually had some time
to myself and I didn’t want to do
housework all day and be boring.
So I purchased a small single-needle machine and started
learning. I love to learn, and before long, the single-needle
machine was not enough for all of the things I wanted to
create—embroidery is such a creative outlet—so I jumped
in feet first and purchased a 6-needle machine and never
looked back!
