You will be tacking the points of the snowflakes together using
a tight zig zag stitch. If you have a button tack stitch function
on your machine, you can use that with your button foot as
shown above.
This is what it looks like once the two snowflakes points are
attached.
Use binder clips or paper clips to attached multiple snowflakes
into place. This will help you keep the snowflakes in order
when attaching them.
Once you have the desired number of snowflakes, arrange
them to your liking. Starting with the center snowflakes, begin
tacking them in place.

Using your button foot, tack stitch the snowflake points together.
Use a clear, or matching thread to tack your snowflakes
together. You may even try tacking on the back side of the
snowflakes to hide the tacking stitches.
Continue tacking the remaining inner snowflakes. When the
center snowflakes are tacked in place, lay them back in place
and begin connecting the outer snowflakes.
