ANATOMY OF THE DESIGNS
HOW TO READ THE DESIGN PAGES
Each of these Easter Bag designs will have designated cut lines for the
specific design’s shape, designating the place for cutting away excess fabric
before running any satin stitches on the top edge. This page will show you
how to locate these cut lines on the design image pages, and referencing
these when stitching the design will help prevent accidentally cutting away
the seam allowance!
CUT LINES
On each design page, the top left will feature
the original artwork with a black dashed line
showing you exactly where to cut excess
fabric away.
If any materials extend outside of the main
bag shape below the cut line, you will need
to leave a 1⁄2” of fabric extending out when
cutting to act as a seam allowance in your
bag’s assembly!
Since the top edge will get a finishing stitch,
this is why we must remove the excess fabric
along the designated cut lines!
