The cuisine at Grey Salt reflects the
European background of its creator,
Chef Marc Murphy. During his childhood
there, he learned to appreciate locally
sourced fresh seafood, artisanal flat
breads, handmade pastas and rotisserie
and grilled meats. Although Grey Salt is
situated in the Hard Rock Casino just off
of I-4 in Tampa, eating there is reminiscent
of dining at a seaside resort near a sunbleached
boardwalk. Chef Marc chose to
use the name of the Mediterranean staple
“Grey Salt” to reflect his menu concept
of tranquil, soothing and calm food in a
relaxed atmosphere. Dining at Grey Salt
is a delight.
